Jomo

Definition:

JOMO stands for "Joy Of Missing Out". It is the opposite of FOMO (Fear Of Missing Out).

Use case:

JOMO is used to describe the feeling of happiness or contentment when you choose to stay in and miss out on social events or activities that you feel obligated to attend. It is often used as a way to encourage people to prioritize their mental health and well-being by taking time for themselves and not feeling pressured to always be socializing. For example, "I'm feeling some serious JOMO right now. I'm going to stay in tonight and read a book instead of going out with friends."
