Go Off

Definition: To become excited or angry and express one's emotions loudly and forcefully.

Use case: You can use "go off" when talking about someone who suddenly becomes angry or emotional and starts yelling or causing a scene. For example, "When he found out he didn't get the job, he really went off and started yelling at the interviewer." It can also be used to describe a situation where something unexpectedly becomes chaotic or out of control, such as "The party really went off when the police showed up."
