Rub Something In Someone’S Face

The idiom "rub something in someone's face" means to boast or remind someone of their mistake or failure in a way that is hurtful or humiliating. It is used when someone repeatedly mentions or reminds another person of something they did wrong or failed at, in a way that is intended to make them feel bad or embarrassed.

For example, if someone fails a test and their friend keeps reminding them of their failure in a teasing or mocking way, they are rubbing it in their face. Or if someone loses a competition and their opponent keeps reminding them of their defeat, they are also rubbing it in their face.
